Neil Hastings, Senior Developer at Tree House Agency, has a decade of experience in the IT field, spanning roles that include developer, server manager, systems analyst and project manager. Prior to joining Tree House, he applied his array of skills in the healthcare and engineering industries. He first began developing for web applications in 2005, with a focus on business applications like issue tracking and change management. These applications were developed in Ruby on Rails, ASP, VS.NET and PHP. Neil discovered Drupal in the middle of 2008 and has since been active in the community, with contributions including contributed modules (Taxonomy Menu, FeedAPI Taxonomy Compare and VPS.NET) and presentations to the Indiana user group. Neil employs the KISS ("keep it simple, stupid") philosophy to his work, and finds his greatest satisfaction in successfully helping others. He holds a BS with a minor in Management Information Systems from Purdue University. In his non-working hours, Neil enjoys winemaking and is a new father.
